Procurement Specialist TRF Pakistan Job in Islamabad

TRF requires the services of a Procurement Specialist to work closely with Provincial Departments of Health and health programmes. The Specialist will help to identify strategic needs for Technical Assistance (TA), support the TA provided and pursue effective implementation of TA recommendations. She/he will work closely with other donor initiatives and the TRF technical team, and represent TRF in deliberations with government. The position is for one year.

Requirements: Post graduate degree (MBA, MPA, Economics or relevant field) with 10 years experience in social sector projects related to procurement management. Substantial knowledge of government systems and procedures, particularly PPRA Rules, Procedures and Guidelines, procurement cycle and logistic and supply chain management. Knowledge of donor supported project management procedures is an advantage. 
Strong management and team building skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. Excellent proficiency in English (oral and written) and use of Microsoft Office are required. Position requires frequent travel to Provinces and Special Areas.
