Position Code: DIT13-09 Role: 

1. Develop efficient and quality code on schedule
2. Perform tasks within agile software development lifecycle
3. Participate in technical review, formal presentation and accurate documentation

General Skills: 

1. In depth knowledge in various Architectural disciplines
2. Experience of banking applications (will be a plus)
3. Good understanding of database design and SQL
4. Understanding of agile development methodology
5. Excellent communications and problem solving skills

Technical Skills: 

1. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
2. Deep knowledge of latest .NET Framework, including Visual Studio, VB.NET, ASP.NET and ADO.NET,C#.
3. Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer, service-oriented architectures (SOA)).
4. Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 / DB2 stored procedures.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent from one of the leading Universities
2. Prior experience of developing banking application will be preferred.
3. 2+ years experience in software development (ASP.NET/VB.NET/C #)
4. 1 + years working with IBM DB2 / SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred)
5. MTA / MCP Microsoft Certified will be given preference
