Managing Applications

Review candidates, update application status, and message applicants directly from your dashboard.

Viewing Applications

Go to Employer Dashboard → Applications to see everyone who has applied across all your job listings. Filter by job or by status, and open a candidate's CV directly (CV links are private and expire after an hour for security).

Application Status

Move a candidate through your hiring pipeline by updating their status:

Applied: the starting status for every application
Under Review: you're evaluating the candidate
Shortlisted: the candidate has progressed to your shortlist
Interview Scheduled: set automatically when you schedule an interview (see below)
Rejected: requires a reason, which is emailed to the candidate

Rejected is final. Once an application is rejected, its status can't be changed again.

Optionally notify the candidate by email when you move them to Under Review or Shortlisted. Rejection emails are always sent.

Scheduling an Interview

Open the application and click Schedule Interview
Choose in-person or online, and set the date and time
Add a location, or a meeting link for online interviews
Add any notes for the candidate

The candidate receives an email with the details, and the application status updates to Interview Scheduled automatically.

Messaging Candidates

Message an applicant directly from Applications or from a candidate's resume page. Messages are emailed to the candidate with your company name and a reply-to address, so they can respond directly.

To keep communication on-platform and safe for both sides, messages can't contain phone numbers, email addresses, links, or mentions of WhatsApp/Skype/Telegram/Viber. Use the built-in interview scheduling and messaging tools instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I message any candidate, or only applicants?
You can message any active candidate whose resume you find on the site, not just applicants to your jobs, as long as your company is approved.
