Huzaifa Bukhari

I am a 3rd-year economics student in Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. I am currently in my third year with a C.G.P.A of 3.9. This places me in third rank in one of the most prestigious economics departments in the entire country. Before joining university, I had obtained multiple distinctions in high school, the most notable being obtaining the first position in my home country for the CAIE examinations in the subject of Economics. I am applying to this internship in order to gain more practical experience. Previously I have done an internship as a data analyst for Karaay Health Consultancy where I concentrated on the health sector, researching and analyzing data to make financial reports for my supervisor. I have also done an internship as a research intern for MEPEI, a think tank based in Romania, as well as a research intern at CFPPR at Bilkent University. My skills include coding knowledge of Python, Matlab, SQL, and Stata. I know how to conduct crosssectional and time series data analysis. I have knowledge in probability and statistics as well as hypothesis testing and regression analysis. I am well-learned in corporate finance and both financial and managerial accounting. Moreover, I am proficient in Microsoft Office and highly capable in presenting and organizing meetings and seminars. Moreover, I have a good grasp of mathematics having taken courses in linear algebra, abstract mathematics, and calculus. I am also interested in various other topics such as history, literature, and politics. I am highly dedicated, disciplined and determined, eager to learn more and explore new opportunities. I am a creative individual who is not afraid to implement his ideas as I have found the first ever student-run macro pitch challenge in Turkey titled EPIC as part of my tenure as head of the Bilkent Economics Research Union. I am an individual who continuously wants to improve and a quick learner.
