1 - As project officer in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Community Driven Local Development Programme, I was responsible for operationalization and management of the programme by assisting the team leader who was an ex-pat Brian Fawcett. All project implementation operations were routed through me particularly project cycle management in various districts of Malakand and monitoring and evaluation activities in districts. 2 - As Project/Program Officer in KP CDLD i was responsible for conducting and preparing reports on performance review and monitoring of the KP Government against CDLD Policy intervention in line with its target settings agreed with EU. Against review reports, the EU released its financial tranches. 3 - Throughout my career in development sector I have the experience to prepare and monitor workplans at district and provincial level, technical assistance work plans, preparing progress reports and monitoring reviews for the team leaders and EU and DFID staff, particularly all project related communication and coordination of KP CDLD programme was done by myself. I am very sure that my progress reporting skills are excellent and would be of great benefit for the ADB. 4 - In my recent experience with Adam Smith International and also in KP CDLD Programme, I had the experience to work on conditional grants provided by the donors, the management and distribution mechanisms of such grants is very complex and I have been able to gain good experience from it. 5 - As Project/Program officer in KP CDLD, I played an instrumental role in project administration as it was the requirement since the team leader was an expat, keeping the top management updated with reporting in line with EU policies and facilitation donor review mission was my responsibility particularly provision of reports and required data in prescribed formats, timesheet reviews, project and technical assistance evaluation reports against performance indicators. 6- I have strong writing skills acquired during my 10 years’ experience in the development sector, preparing grants reviews, and budgetary estimates for release of tranches depending on the targets achieved, additionally I am well equipped to understand the donor policies and requirements which I have already done in KP CDLD and KP Education Sector Programme. 7- Since 2014, during my experience in KP CDLD and KP Education Sector Programme, liaison and coordination with government and donor agencies was a requirement, so I have credible experience of that. I have the experience to be act as data bank and project memory of these development projects. Data processing and review reporting is my strong skill. 8- As Project/Program Officer, I was responsible for managing the recruitment process, prepared advertisements, prepared experience level requirements, and sorting resumes and CVs for interviews and subsequent decision making according to the criteria set under the project policy. So, I strongly believe that my skills and work experience match the job description requirement in the ADB advertisement of this particular job. 9 - In my experience in KP CDLD and also in KESP, I have worked as a bridge between the government agencies and the donor agencies, and I have provided both the entities with the requirement documentation and technical assistance as per their requirement, thus making me a strong applicant for this particular position.
