Description

I am currently working as research associate in London South Bank university since 2015. I have accomplished my Ph.D. in computer vision from London South Bank University in 2016. I have also obtained two MSc degrees, one in computer science and the other is in Telecommunication and Computer Networks. I have diverse practical and teaching experience in computer science that encompasses system embedded programming, desktop and web developments, Robotics, signal processing, Machine Learning and data mining.  I hold a very good experience in computer science over the years. I have developed exceptional skills to encourage student participation in class through careful organization of teaching materials and engaging attitude. In my class, I believe all students should contribute to the learning process.

Development experience

·       I have worked on the EPSRC funded project Digital Agent Networking for Customer Energy Reduction (DANCER). Within this project, I have contributed in designing the gas meter monitoring modules, worked on image processing Using C/C++. I also developed some action classes in Java to receive sensors data at home gateway (HG) and worked on interfacing the short-range wireless (XBee) modules. I have worked on advanced Ultra-Wideband Radar and developed code and debugging tools in C (under windows and Linux operating system) to monitor the occupancy and movements of users in house.

·       I have developed, as part of my PhD, a replica of traditional Peripheral sensory neuropathy assessment of diabetic patient but in automated manner using C/C++ image processing technique. The developed code extracts suitable plantar pressure points and send their localisation to microcontroller to apply the probe with required force. The patient response is registered against each probe application. The program also capable to discriminates normal and abnormal plantar skin using machine learning algorithm.

Teaching Experience

·       Currently teaching Biomedical Imaging, C/C++ Post graduate level in London South Bank University

·       Taught graduate and under-graduate classes in London South Bank University

·       Computer Science lecturer in Grafton College of Management Science shepherd Bush London 2006-2007.

My responsibilities were to deliver computer science lectures.

·       Math and Computer Science lecturer in NICE degree college RYK from Jan 2001 to September 2006.

o    I taught BSc Mathematics (Calculus, Mathematical Method, Vector & Scalar, Complex Number, Metric Space), And Computer Science subjects.
