RESPONSIBILITIES Ø    To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages. Ø    Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures. Ø    Move goods to relevant departments using pallets trucks and electric ride on trucks. Ø    Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any short shipments/miss-picks. Ø    Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction. Ø    Physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock onto the shelves. Ø    Shelf replenishment; take from pallet bin locations, replenish shelf and then put the balance back in pallet bin location. Ø    Packing goods into boxes. Ø    Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded. Ø    To maintain optimal stock levels. Ø    To inform the purchase department well in advance about the items that reaches the re-order level to order from supplies. Ø    To review physical inventories periodically. Ø    To maintain stock and consumption records. Ø    To check incoming materials for quality, and quantity against invoices, purchase orders and packing slips or other documents. Ø    To make clear notes on the receipt of the items against each invoice. Ø    To keeps and updates records of good received and issued. Ø    To compiles report of expenditure, and monthly stock report. Ø    To disposes of expired and waste stock according to the current procedure. Ø   To coordinate plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and services to ensure finished quality services. Ø   To coordinate in documentation of internal and external audits and other quality assurance activities. Ø   To Coordinate investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues. Ø   To Coordinate develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions. Ø   To Coordinate identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.     .
