With overall experience of 13+ years in the Corporate/Digital Banking and non-Profit sector at a social entreprise, I have held diverse roles within renowned organizations. I started off my career with Citibank as a Corporate Service Manager (2.5 years of experience) – Managing Large MNCs and SME relationships. My role required close coordination with internal cross functional teams & Trade / Finance managers – heads of the companies. I gained extensive experience in Relationship management while also acquiring product knowledge of the corporate banking leg of the business including trade / cash management & Corporate digital payment solutions.

 

Later I had the privilege to join an NGO Naya Jeevan – 2 years of experience (funded by various multilateral institutions) as Business account manager / startup co-founder having a non-for-profit and for-profit business model, I gained extensive knowledge in creating health insurance policies for lower income communities while writing institutional grants to raise funds for various projects. As a startup co-founder (e-novatRX) I was able to gain in-depth insights on preparing business models, financial models / business plans / market intelligence reports. Participated on various platforms and gave investors pitches on different competitions. Then I had a brief 4 months stint at a tube packaging firm – Alpha containers where as assistant marketing manager I was responsible for performing sales function, competition scans and preparing market research report.

 

Currently as Senior Product Manager at MCB Bank, Lahore, I manage core functions as part of the digital banking group in general and Debit cards in particular. It has been 7+ years that I have been part of this bank where I gained 4+ years of experience in strategic Alliances and discounts, 3 years in customer experience and 1 year in debit card product development and operations (operations including BRDs, inventory management, insurance, marketing coordination, discovering new revenue lines, SBLC management etc).
