Having over 26 Years of hands-on strategic level experience of procurement, supply chain/ logistics planning and management, system strengthening, workforce development, and contracts development & management. I had the opportunity to work at key positions in the public/ private development sectors and provided technical support at policy and strategic levels for project coordination; field operations; health commodities forecasting/ quantification, supply planning and procurement systems strengthening, projects’ work plans deployment and implementation, supply chain systems assessment; contracts development and management from initiation to closure, developing supply chain publications; Logistics Management Information System (LMIS); Anti-TB Drugs Management Information System (DMIS), warehousing & distribution. Recently, I have completed my contractual term of over a year and a half, as Regional Coordinator – Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSM) contracted with the USAID’s Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC)/ Chemonics project and my services were seconded to Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination/ Common Management Unit (CMU) for The Global Fund Grants on AIDS, TB & Malaria. In the capacity of Regional Coordinator-PSM I was tasked to review, revamp and implement globally applied best SC practices, to ensure that the Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS) is achieved to the core concept of it i.e. to provide Universal Health Coverage (UHC) to the masses of Pakistan. Prior to joining the assignment of Regional Coordinator – PSM I served as Manager Procurements at federal office of The Principal Recipient (PR) for Global Fund (TGF) Grants on AIDS, TB & Malaria (ATM). In the capacity of Manager-Procurements I supported the three disease programs at central level, as well as, the Provincial public and Private sector Sub-Recipients of grants to implement procurement plans and coordinating the supply chain interventions across the country. Being the procurement team focal point I provided technical support to project technical field operations, supply chain systems strengthening, deployment, workforce development, and documentations and supervised around 30 program staff at central office and provincial levels. In 2017 I managed to arrange an extensive international training workshop at Islamabad, with the support of International Consultants from Global Drug Facility (GDF) Geneva, for Supply Chain related staff on quantification of Anti-TB drugs on a dedicatedly developed software called QuanTB (a software that helps TB supply chain specialists to quantify single as well as fixed dose combination drugs).

Before joining TGF-PR office, I served at USAID supported FALAH Project as Deputy Program Manager

(Logistics) from Dec: 2009 to June 2010. In the capacity of Deputy Program Manager (Logistics) I managed technical assistance support to the federal, provincial and regional governments for developing Training module on Logistics Management for the Basic Health Unit level staff of Provincial Health & Population departments and trained over 400 staff across the country. Being a team member, I developed the first ever Logistics Management manual in the history of Pakistan for public sector country-wide Lady Health Workers’

(LHW) Program (Pakistan’s flagship health sector vertical program). I also worked with the USAID funded

TACMIL Health Project contracted to Abt Associate Inc: USA from April 2008 till Nov: 2009 as Senior Logistics Advisor. During my stay at TACMIL Health Project I led a team of national and international consultants for a Need Assessment Study on Procurement & Supply Chain Management in MoH and MoPW Pakistan and the development of dedicated software on Logistics Management.

I also served as public sector employee in the then Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan for about 12 years as Provincial Logistics Officer – Balochistan in National Program for Family Planning & Primary Health Care (NP for FP & PHC) renowned as LHW Program from 1996 till 2008 and supported the Provincial Government for procurement of health commodities, contraceptives, medical equipment, monitoring and training tools, warehousing, and inventory management. Being the Provincial Logistics

Officer I was the focal point for identifying the need for program commodities and thereafter for annual forecasting and quantification of health commodities, contraceptives, medical equipment, monitoring and training tools. During my stay at LHWs program I supervised a chain of multinational pharmaceutical companies in procurement, warehousing, distribution, monitoring, and workforce development.

During the entire professional career, I was blessed with the opportunities developed quite a number of programs’ policy material, including SOPs, guidelines, bidding documents and training manuals related to health commodities procurement, consultancy services, warehousing, and quality assurance and currently in use of public sector departments across the country.
