Specialist SharePoint Department of Public Affairs Jobs in Pakistan
Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible to:
- initiate and manage Proof of Concept and prototypes as required
- provide technical advice to business on what SharePoint can offer out-of-the-box, diagnose and map business requirements
- provide technical impact assessment of custom development requirements, recommend approaches and submit time and cost estimates
- architect technical solutions with detailed documentation
- integrate business systems with SharePoint – full systems development lifecycle
- lead, plan and manage business / solution design, configuration and implementation for extensions and custom
- components including developing collaboration, workflow and InfoPath forms
- analyst, test and approve any custom development and any third party tools
- configure and maintain document libraries, lists and WSS site collections, and deploy SharePoint at the enterprise level in a distributed global environment
- perform administrative activities such as backup, restore, site creation, and user issue resolution.
Candidates should have:
- a recognized degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines, or Masters in Computer Science or MBA in MIS; additional Microsoft certifications would be a plus
- at least six years’ experience with business information systems integration, design and development
- expertise in programming with .NET Framework: Microsoft Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint 2010
- expert level understanding of Windows Architecture, SQL Server, IIS, Workflows, InfoPath, Forms Services, web development (XML, XSL, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Java Script)
- ability to deliver as a development lead for business application development tasks and to carry out impact analysis with the chosen vendor(s) for large scale development activities
- hands-on experience in SharePoint administration including installing & configuring and branding
- strong customer interaction skills and ability to understand and document customer needs from a business solutions perspective
- critical thinking, problem solving, design abilities, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level
- excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to handle diverse situations and multiple projects.
