Role: 

1. Ensures that the teams adheres to the chosen process and removes blocking issues.
2. Ensures that the teams are fully functional and productive
3. Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions
4. Shields the teams from external interferences
5. Ensures that the process is followed, including issuing invitations to daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint planning
6. Facilitates the daily scrums
7. Assist the teams and product owners to turn the requirements into the working software.
8. Tracks the progress and helps the team to achieve the given commitment. Ultimate goal is to make the sprint successful.
9. Reports about the progress of the sprint, Risk, issues, challenges, achievements, success, failure, improvements etc to the higher management.
10. Responsible for the scrum processes agreed in the project. Creates the scrum rules for the project. Then makes sure that each and every process is implemented in the project. At the end of the sprint, needs to check the agile management tool at the user story level that each and every user story is completed as per the definition of done.
11. Interface between the technical team and the business i.e. product owner.
12. Resolves all the impediments and team concentrate on the engineering tasks.
13. Coach the team on how to estimate. Further scrum master will also participate in the estimation during the planning meeting.
14. Find out the ways to improve on the quality, velocity, value to the business.

General Skills: 

1. Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs including projects run on agile methodology
2. Experience in banking domain would be preferred
3. Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation and problem solving skills
4. Good understanding of features/functions of leading banking products

Technical Skills: 

1. Scrum Master Certified or Working Experience in the same Role

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent from one of the leading Universities
2. 7+ years of relevant work experience in managing scrums
