Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer will assist the supervisor in designing and producing a range of marketing and communication materials for the AKDN eHealth Resource Centre.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
- Excellent understanding of graphic designing and web design
- Excellent creative and computer skills
- Able to think creatively and outside the box while adhering to organizational guidelines
- Able to take design initiative and give advice on design options
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Design maps, diagrams, graphics, visuals, illustrations, templates, etc. for various materials
- Sketch and design infographics of eHealth activities and programmes
- Design marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, reports) and create interactive pages for the AKDN eHRC website
- Design, modify logos/ edit images for quality
- Participate in relevant project committees and meetings
- Prepare reports and other documentation whenever needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or communication design
- Minimum 1 year work experience
- Experienced to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Freehand, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, InDesign, HTML/CSS, Microsoft PowerPoint and other graphic design software
- Good written and spoken English and Urdu language skills
- Good interpersonal skills.
