      Qualification: BE in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

      Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience of a process industry as Maintenance Engineer preferably pharmaceutical/agrochemical/fertilizer.

      Job Description

      • Liaise with utility companies
      • Responsible of managing site R&M budget at agreed value
      • Project engineer for all new/upgrades like Formulation and repackaging relocation projects, security up-gradation, selection and approval of alternate spares and technology for all machines operating across the site and the up-country warehouses
      • Member of site Operational Safety Team
      • Member of Process Risk Assessment team
      • Member of HSE audit team and responsible of execution of safety related projects
      • Leading Hazard Area classification project
      • To ensure smooth operation of all machinery and equipment installed in Karachi site. 
      • To provide engineering support to all initiatives across the organization, and to achieve volumes, HSE and quality targets.

      • An effective team player who can work with various functions in order to achieve business targets.
      • Very responsive to ensure on-time deliveries up to the expectations
      • An effective leader who can work with all cadres of employees especially with the blue collar workers and able to deliver targets
      • A good decision maker able to respond to many issues at one time
      • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical & instrumentation engineering to support smooth operation of site machinery and support systems
      • Having sense of emergency and able to flag on potential risks to the people and assets
      • A cost conscious person who can work in tight budget limitations by keeping good working standards
      • Must have sufficient knowledge of basic HSE and Quality best practices and its relation with productivity
      • A flexible and patient listener
      • Must be conversant of computer based maintenance
