Head of the Department, Nephrology

Knowledge Skills
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Performance driven under work pressure.
Job Responsibilities
  • Have sound knowledge of Nephrology and will be required to perform daily ward rounds of Inpatients and attending consults.
  • Able to cover Consultant Clinics and Emergency consults on behalf of attending Physician.
  • Will be on call off site.
  • Able to place double Lumen catheter independently and Renal Biopsies (under Supervision, if required).
  • Will be required to address issues related to dialysis patients, whenever referred by Dialysis Unit.
  • Will be required to look after both the On campus & Off campus dialysis facilities as scheduled by departmental head.
  • To manage Educational Sessions of the residents, as well as their rota, will be required to take didactic lectures of Post Graduate Trainees.
  • Should be Research oriented, will be required to engage himself / herself in conducting good quality research in the field of Nephrology.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the Head of Department.
