Job Profile
I was working as Lead Treasury and admin in LC Well, UAE, for almost 3.5 years.
Main Challenges were as follows;
• Establish & manage professional relationships with banks & financial institutions in order to run company's treasury operations smoothly, gain privilege to protect company interest and to in-line treasury function with business growth.
• Arrange and manage new banking facilities including funded (Running finance, overdraft, term loan, lease) & non- funded (Letter of guarantees & credit) for company from time to time as per requirement to meet contractual obligations, procurement plan, to support business operations in case of cash deficit and for merger & acquisition.
• Responsible for preparation of special reports required by banks for credit evaluations of company and required by management for decision making.
• Managing daily cash management of liquidity, which includes assuring sufficient funds in company account to fund daily expenses, and transferring funds to / from investment.
• Negotiate exchange rate with treasury departments of all banks on inward and outward remittances to get maximum benefit from exchange rates.
• Forecast the short / medium / long term cash needs of the company to determine borrowing requirement (in case of deficit) and to determine investment opportunity and its maturity.
• Continuous interaction with unit Directors and other departments with regards to improve accuracy of forecasts and efficiency of existing forecasting processes.
• Provide detailed tracking, reporting and analysis of financial transactions generated within Treasury department, including cash concentration/disbursements, short-and long-term debt, banking arrangements, dividend payments, lease Financing, funds management, investing activity and insurance management.
• Applies accounting principles to transactions and recommends revisions in departmental accounting procedures to ensure conformance with applicable statues, laws, and General Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Directly liaison with Supply Chain Dept for inventory reports as well as creditors aging.
• Monthly Staff Salary disbursement arrangements along with administrative expenses.
• Manage the daily office operation, take initiative to resolve problems within specified policies and guidelines and determine when executive actions are required in providing the appropriate recommendation.
• Organize and manage special corporate events and other office activities.
• Managed all purchasing and ensured proper maintenance of office space (kitchens, reception, conference rooms.
• Liaised with building management on all office maintenance and safety issues.
• To ensure all support activities are carried on efficiently and effectively to allow the other operations to function properly.
