In 2018, I graduated from Haiwad University with a bachelor’s degree in Political science, obtaining a top grading in the class. My passion for journalism is something that was born and has stayed with me ever since. Back in high school, took my first in becoming a journalist. I wrote several articles and stories for various local and national magazines. When I saw my first article being published in a local magazine, it gave me a sense of self-confidence to pursue this career with bigger steps. In 2015, I established my own magazine under the name of Tamana-e-Jawan monthly magazine. Establishing my own magazine with my own style was one of my biggest achievements which boosted my career even more. Besides publishing my magazine on monthly basis, I worked as a journalist with reputable Media and publications in the capital city of Kabul for almost 8 years such as Pazhwak news agency, Star Television and radio station, National radio TV of Afghanistan (RTA), and Rah-e Madanyat newspaper. Years of working as a journalist and a TV reporter, helped me discover my own style in editing, writing, reporting and presentation. During my career, I have published over a hundred articles, documentaries, and reports and I have been praised by the embassies and countries like Pakistan and Iran for being an influencing and inspiring female journalist. My goals are high and there is a long path to take. As a woman, in a relatively limited and culturally strict country like Afghanistan, I faced so many challenges. I consider this my responsibility to introduce brave and talented Afghan women journalists to the world and be their voice. And all my works have been a source of much pleasure for me. This opportunity will help me meet and discover a global network of professional journalists. Learning from the rich American culture will also be an honor. I can’t wait to learn new things and subsequently buildup on my own knowledge and experience in media.  I hope that you will find me a considerable candidate for this opportunity and grant me the honor of joining this amazing team.
