I, TAJWER SHAKEEL have been working in research since 2003 at the Paediatrics Research Department of the Aga Khan University. I have done my masters in Sociology in the year 2003. My 13 years of research experience has given me immense knowledge of working in field sites and doing quality control management of research projects. Yet, I feel that learning is a continuous process and I am keen to gain further experience for my professional career development.
Currently I am working as a Project Supervisor in (TIPS) “Validation of Thermal Images on Smart-Phones to Diagnose Bacterial Pneumonia in Children in Pakistan” (Sep 2016 – till to date)

With Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, Aga Khan University (AKU) Karachi, Pakistan. I started working as a Research Assistant in 2006. I have been involved in development of research tools; planning and implementation of community-based research projects; quality control, monitoring and evaluation of projects and training of project staff.
