Sulaiman Malik

Dear team, As a graduate from the University of Sydney, working at Standard Chartered is a very exciting opportunity for me. My studies of economics at university combined technical rigor with creative and communicative skills. During university, I was an elected member of the student council known as the SRC and resident advisor for undergraduate students at the university. On top of my achievements at university, I have worked with Bank Alfalah as a credit analyst in their SME and Commercial division and now with Askari Bank as an Associate Relationship Manager within their Commercial Banking Division. My time in the workplace has helped me learn many workplaces related skills including analyzing product data, assisting in the development of product documentation and quality assurance, and conducting research on and executing a variety of banking transactions. I also learned how to employ effective strategies to mitigate a bank’s risk against new and credit poor clients. All my previous roles have helped teach me the value of leadership, discipline, and the importance of perseverance. I hope to utilize these skills in my new role with Standard Chartered.
