  I’m a psychologist who has experience in understanding patients’ perceptions and experiences of illness, treatment and healthcare services, and developing behavioural interventions to address unmet needs. Following my MSc in Health psychology, I began my career as a Behavioural Scientist. My role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team conducting primary and secondary research to understand people’s perceptions and experiences of illness, treatment and healthcare services; developing and evaluating healthcare interventions and patient support programs. I’ve worked across a wide range of disease areas and multimorbidity.   I’m experienced in conducting literature reviews to rapidly identify and synthesize relevant theory and research to provide timely response to response queries with a behavioural science focus. I am able to effectively utilise and implement a range of research methods/ statistical analyses/ techniques to carry out rapid research. For example, I’m currently leading on an innovative Asthma project which involves identifying literature gaps to asthma medication adherence and designing, implementing and evaluating an intervention in collaboration with a well-recognised pharmaceutical company.   This often involves producing high quality reports in parallel with other priority work, successfully meeting tight deadlines, presenting to board members and global health teams to support the development of key stakeholder relationships. My experience lies in both research and the commercial world. I enjoy translating the latest findings from academic research into workable, real-world solutions that can help people with long-term conditions and their healthcare team. I am proficient in: Office, Qualtrics, psychological testing software’s, SPSS and NVivo for data analysis.
