About
I am contacting you to convey my enthusiasm for applying for the position of "School Principal" that was posted on Jobs your website. With over two decades of teaching experience in diverse areas of Mechanical Engineering and its various applications, I have had the privilege of instructing students in both New Zealand and the Middle East.
In 2016, I successfully completed my doctoral degree in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering at the School of Design and Creative Technologies, Auckland University of Technology (AUT). My research project, titled "Understanding Upper Airway Dynamic Characteristics in Obstructive Sleep Apnea Patients under Invasive and non-Invasive Treatment," formed the basis of my dissertation. Throughout my doctoral studies, I extensively utilized computer-aided design tools such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Abaqus/CAE software. These tools allowed me to construct and simulate various models related to my research using mathematical modeling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element methods (FEM), and fluid-structure interaction (FSI).
I am proud to mention that my accomplishments during my doctoral studies were recognized, as I was honored with the Dean's Outstanding Doctoral Award for 2016 from AUT.
Furthermore, in 2011, I attained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics. The focus of my research project was the "Numerical Treatment of Fluid Flow through Square and Triangular Ducts." During this endeavor, I employed mathematical modeling techniques and computational fluid dynamics to analyze and understand the fluid dynamics within these duct geometries.
Upon completion of my studies in 2002, I graduated as an Aerospace Engineer, achieving the 5th rank in my class. As part of my graduation requirements, I undertook a comprehensive project involving the design, manufacturing, and successful flight of a helicopter model. I am pleased to mention that my project received an excellent grade, attaining the full mark.
From March 2016 to August 2019, I held the positions of Academic Manager and Senior Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering at Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT). During this tenure, I played a key role in overseeing academic activities and delivering lectures in the field of Mechanical Engineering. For a comprehensive overview of my work experience history, I kindly request referring to my attached CV.
Additionally, I currently serve as an adjunct postdoctoral research fellow at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). In this capacity, I actively contribute to postdoctoral research projects and provide guidance and supervision to master's and doctoral students.
Currently, I hold the position of Senior Lecturer of Mathematics, Aviation, and Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT). In this role, I am responsible for teaching and instructing students in various subjects related to mathematics, aviation, and mechanical engineering. I actively contribute to the academic development and curriculum design within these fields at IAT.
I have accomplished the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (NCALNE) in New Zealand, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to effectively teach and support adult learners in their literacy and numeracy development. Additionally, I have obtained the Certificate of Tertiary Teaching (CTT) at level 5, further enhancing my expertise in teaching at the tertiary level.
With over twenty years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, I possess extensive knowledge and practical understanding of its various applications within the engineering sector. Throughout my career, I have actively contributed to the advancement of Mechanical Engineering by applying my expertise to real-world projects and challenges.
Furthermore, I have an extensive background in undergraduate teaching, with over twenty years of experience instructing students in diverse subjects within the field of Mechanical Engineering. This hands-on teaching experience has allowed me to effectively engage and guide students in their learning journey, fostering their understanding and passion for the subject matter.
Please refer to my CV for further information about my work experience and educational background. I hope this will outline the contribution I believe I can offer you.
