Sawaiba Tayyab

During my six-week internship at Bank Alfalah's Corporate Branch (September–October 2026), I worked in the operations department, where I supported day-to-day banking activities and gained hands-on understanding of the account opening process. Alongside this, I built strong knowledge of the bank's products and their features, and gained exposure to key cash department functions such as clearing, RTGS, IBFT/G, Raast, fund transfers, and remittances. I also learned about AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) procedures and how such compliance checks are handled in practice, giving me a well-rounded view of both the operational and regulatory sides of retail banking.
