As an Administrator for the Department of Nursing Hostels in Management Services at The Aga Khan University Hospital, responsible for overseeing the efficient administration and operations of nursing hostel facilities. The role includes ensuring smooth day-to-day hostel management, maintaining accommodation records, coordinating room allocation and occupancy, supervising housekeeping and maintenance services, addressing residents’ concerns, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and safety standards. Responsibilities also include managing transportation arrangements and coordination for nursing staff and hostel residents, ensuring timely and efficient transport services, and overseeing hostel security operations by coordinating with security teams to maintain a safe, secure, and supportive living environment. The role further involves liaison with internal departments, managing documentation and reports, monitoring service quality, and ensuring operational excellence across hostel services.

As District Coordinator for the Malaria Control Program, I led, coordinated, and monitored all malaria prevention and control activities at the district level. I ensured effective implementation of program strategies, supported health facilities, strengthened community outreach, and maintained accurate reporting for timely decision-making. I collaborated closely with district health authorities, partners, and community stakeholders to improve malaria surveillance, case management, and vector control interventions. As a Logistics Officer for the Malaria Control Program, I managed and supported all logistics, supply chain, and operational activities required for effective implementation of malaria prevention and control interventions. I ensured timely availability, distribution, and monitoring of malaria commodities across health facilities and field teams. In addition to core logistics duties, I also handled administrative, HR, warehouse, and BCC responsibilities, including: Logistics Management: I coordinated the procurement, transportation, and distribution of malaria supplies such as RDTs, medicines, LLINs, and spray equipment. I monitored supply movements, maintained delivery records, and ensured smooth support for field operations and campaigns. Warehouse & Inventory Management: I managed district-level warehouses, maintained stock registers, ensured proper storage conditions, and implemented FIFO/FEFO practices to avoid stock expiry or shortages.

As an EPI Technician with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), I supported routine immunization services and ensured effective delivery of vaccines to children and eligible populations in the assigned areas. I assisted in strengthening immunization coverage, maintained vaccine cold-chain systems, and contributed to community awareness on vaccine-preventable diseases. Vaccination Services: I administered routine immunizations according to EPI guidelines, verified eligibility, and maintained safe injection practices during fixed and outreach sessions. Cold Chain & Vaccine Management: I managed vaccine storage, monitored temperature logs, prepared daily vaccine requirements, and ensured proper handling, transportation, and usage of vaccines to prevent wastage. Record Keeping & Reporting: I maintained immunization registers, updated tally sheets, prepared daily/weekly reports, and submitted accurate data to supervisors for district-level compilation. Community Mobilization: I engaged community members, raised awareness on immunization importance, coordinated with community volunteers, and encouraged parents to complete their children’s vaccination schedules. Support to Health Centers & Teams: I assisted medical teams during campaigns, participated in outreach planning, and supported monitoring activities to improve coverage and service quality.
