Skills and Interests • Providing customer service and managing customer expectations • I have good leadership skills with strategic vision and an ability to solve problems and deliver results. • A flexible attitude to work with good interpersonal skills, my current role requires me to deal with a multinational crew and passenger base • In my previous job I was able to handle different situations on the aircraft, managing resources is an important part of this and thinking out of the box in circumstances where required. • I have the ability to prioritise and manage workloads under pressure while retaining a sense of humour and approachability. • A supportive team player with the ability to manage change within a team. • I was part of the peer support team and as part of my responsibilities I provided crew with counseling support to those who are involved in various kinds of situations on board e.g. deaths, medical emergencies , restraining of passengers etc. • I have a completed a number of self-development courses which include certificates for educational workshops. • I was part of Emirates Local Activation team that deals with off loaded, ill passengers and deaths on board. This required me to deal with completing the necessary paper work, and visiting hospitals. • I have also studied holistic therapy courses and believe they assist in the mental and physical healing of an individual. • I have good computer skills having worked with Microsoft Office and other propriety software • I like travelling and reading. I enjoy reading books in my spare time and have a vast collection of them. • I have been a free lance journalist with articles published in Dawn Magazine and Women’s Own magazine. I have a passion for writing and have kept dairies of my travel experiences and collected little memoirs from all the places I have visited over the years. I plan to pursue writing again on the side and write about my travels and the interesting incidents and stories accumulated over the years. Languages Proficient in English and Urdu.
