About
This is Rabbia Ayoub. I have completed my Masters in Molecular biology from “National Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), Pakistan”. I joined Seed Biotechnology Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Munim Farooq. My MPhil thesis was based on the transformation and expression of CEMB modified glufosinate gene in maize inbred line. The results of my research work were in accordance with the proposed hypothesis. I have done my BS (Hons) in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from “Institute of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics (MMG), University of Punjab, Lahore”. My BS thesis was based on the Multi-metal Resistance and Biosurfactant production by Purple Non-sulfur Bacteria. I am punctual, hardworking and well-disciplined women. I have an upper hand on research techniques such as DNA extraction, cloning and expression, PCR, plant tissue culture techniques, bacterial culturing, isolation, identification and antimicrobial activity testing of gram positive and gram negative bacteria. I enjoy team work as well as I have the capability to carry out independent research. I assure you that I will prove myself an asset to your Molecular Biology and Microbiology relevant projects.
