Objective:
Sindh Agricultural and Forestry Workers Coordinating Organization (Safwco), started its developmental journey from a small initiative, launched in 1986 by a group of five social activists led by Mr. Suleman G. Abro. Concerned about depleting sources of livelihood and employment, increasing poverty and social deprivation in rural Sindh and propelled by its own vision of sustainable, equitable and just society, Safwco initiated a process of social mobilization in District Sanghar initially.
Sindh Agricultural and Forestry Workers Coordinating Organization (SAFWCO) as Plan’s implementation partner will be responsible to implement the post primary education activities in the identified UCs of Thatta district. While coordinating and working with Plan’s other partners e.g. Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS), SAFWCO undertook following activities to implement this program.
Area of Work:
· Develop Educational Awareness raising material & Manuals for Training
· Conduct Training of Teachers, Communities, Education Officials, Students and District Officers on positive discipline/ Child Rights / Life Skills Based Education/ Gender/School Governance/Decision Making/role of teachers for enrolment & retention & Wash component

· Manage project funds at district level and prepare periodic expense reports, Co-ordinate with line department and consortium partners at District and Provincial level.
· To manage the proper formatting and printing of papers, reports and documents according to agreed formats, branding guidelines and timelines of the project.
· To support and encourage individual staff to report accurately on fieldwork activities, highlighting problems and possible solutions plus lessons learned.
· To assist implementing team in preparing their progress reports, as requested according to donors agreed timelines and procedures. Together, analyze these reports in terms of problems and actions needed.
