As someone with Bachelor’s Degree and immense passion for journalism, the job posted on your website for a news reporter sparked my interest so here I’m writing a short introduction. To shortly introduce myself, my name is Namrah Tariq and I know that Geo News is well recognised, has gained respect as a top-notch news channel in Pakistan.When I was informed about this position, I knew that this was the opportunity to use my effective spoken skills for a larger audience. I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Sciences from International Islamic University. During my university, I actively participated in different projects which gave me an excellent combination of skills in broadcast journalism, news broadcasting and much more as I opted for a specialisation in Electronic Media. After graduation, I started working with Bol News as an Associate Producer but my passion to be on screen and inform the masses didn’t let me stay there, behind the camera, for a very long period of time so here I’m looking for a better platform where I can educate and inform the masses about current affairs through TV. It would be an honour to work with such a big organisation as Geo News and to contribute to your daily broadcasts.
