- First of all water tanks was filled ¾ by opening the valve and by using feed water pump.
- A 1000W electric heater was used for heating purposes
- Water level indicator was used to control the water level.
- Pressure gauge was used to measure the pressure of produced steam.
- Safety valve opens automatically after a specific steam pressure.
- Water was feed by feed water pump after a specific interval.
- 1st week at Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS), where analyzed the running plant with its own control room as well as the internal parts of those plants which were open for maintenance.
- 2nd week at Combined Cycle Plant (CCP) and Main Control Room (MCR) where analyzed the combine cycle mechanism connected with GTPS and also studied the working of Main Control Room of GTPS and CCP.
- 3rd week at Central Turbine Workshop (CTW), where learnt the maintenance types and stages of different mechanical part of a complete power plant either thermal or hydraulic.
- Last week at Steam Power Plant (SPP), where studied the different parts of SPP which includes boiler stages, cooling towers, steam turbine, generator etc.
- Purchase the hydraulic jack from scrape market and Assemble the parts of jack also change some damage parts like piston seal, nuts and bolts.
- Design the foundation for hydraulic jack in which all the parts of hydraulic jack like electric motor, reservoir, and pump are mounted on foundation using nut and bolts.
- Design the square plate jointed the mid-section of square plate to the one end of spindle of the jack for lift the weight that put on it.
- Design square body structure made of sheet metal plates to cover all the components to look proper shape and design.
