Working as Operations Engineer and managing operations team as Shift in-charge to operate HVDC system, 500kV AC Grid and station power system which includes 132kV and 11kV and 400V system. My prime responsibilities include: • Coordination with NPCC for switching operations and maintenance plans. • Leading Operations team to supervise everyday inspection and preventive maintenance tasks • Comprehensive inspection of Transformer, Generator, Shunt Reactor and other equipment. • Assist in the efficiency and productivity of O&M staff and make recommendations for improvement. • Prepare weekly report on analysis of operations and faults of various equipment and systems at Grid station • Coordination with Maintenance team to report and keep track of faults for their timely maintenance • Handling and issuance of work tickets and work permits. Documentation and record keeping of AC faults, electrical drawings, working tickets and key data. • Manage assets and equipment in tools room by ordering and arranging tools and Spare parts and issued to maintenance team • Provide on-job trainings to Trainee engineers to facilitate knowledge sharing and achievement of defined quality standards within the team. • Operating DC system, AC system and auxiliary systems (Water treatment system, Fire system) • Monitoring of complete Grid station systems through SCADA. • Infrared temperature measurement for reliable operation of equipment using thermal guns of FLIR and FLUKE. • Protection relay operation / data extraction: Schneider Micom P446, MicomP841, Micom P14131QN; ABB Rel670 • Organize and arrange safety measures for maintenance personnel. • Analyze faults using Transient Fault Recorder CAAP 2008.
