I am an experienced professional with more than eight (8) years of experience in providing Risk Advisory, Consulting and Financial Advisory Services to leading organizations. Currently, I am working in Sialkot International Airport Limited as Deputy Manager Internal Audit (SIAL) (Head of Internal Audit).   As Head of Internal Audit function in SIAL, I am responsible for both pre and post audits at the airport. Pre-Audit includes verification of each and every payment and receipt, while post audit involves audit of each of 21 department of airport in light of IATA, ICAO and statutory regulations in order to ensure smooth, efficient and effective running of airport operations. Considering the sensitivity of work, we present our Internal Audit Report to Audit Committee whose meeting is held on monthly basis.   In Amer Eye Hospital, I was advisor to the director and was involved in almost all departments of the organization i.e. Finance, Tax, Human Resource, Procurement, Marketing and Admin). I was responsible for audits of weekly camps, surgeries, OPD's etc.. I was also responsible for managing terms and payments of the equipment i.e. Phamto Lasik, PRK Laser, Phaco Machines, Lenses etc., with the manufacturers as well.   In Deloitte, I have performed Internal Audits of Donor Funded Projects for different NGO’s. I have carried out the Performance Audit of Funded Technical Projects managed by the Government of Pakistan.   I have carried out Corporate Restructuring of MIA Group of Companies (Private) Limited, a leading HVAC Supplier in Pakistan as a Job In-Charge. I also carried out assessment of compliance by Listed Companies to Corporate Governance rules applicable in Pakistan for The World Bank”.   I have been involved in development of Policies and Manuals of MIA Group of Companies (Private) Limited, Afghan Social Marketing Organization and Cretesol (Private) Limited. I have also updated the existing Policies of Fauji Power Company Limited and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited. I have prepared the Business Plan of Mughal Iron and Steel Industries Limited. I have also carried out the Strategic Review of Izhar Group of Companies. I also have developed the Three Year Business Plans of two main companies of MIA Group of Companies (Private) Limited and also assisted in the Business Plan of Cretesol (Private) Limited. I have assisted in formation of Not for Profit Company under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984 i.e. Salma Khatoon Foundation. I have also provided professional advice to PCM Inc. regarding opening of a business in Pakistan.
