Muhammad Khizar Shaheen

I completed my bachelors in Geophysics from Bahria University Islamabad in January 2017. During my degree I completed various geological fields in the areas of Salt Range and Abbottabad. I also performed a resistivity survey for water near Kalar Kahar. My final semester thesis was Rock Physics Modelling and Reservoir Analysis of Qazian Structure, Upper Indus Basin Using 2D Seismic Interpretation and Petrophysical Analysis. After completing my degree, I did an internship with OGDCL. I worked with the QC Department at H/Q. I learned the basics of world leading software; PETREL and Techlog and also proof read and edited the TOR of Dhok Sultan Area of OGDCL with BGP International. I also worked with Survey, Loading, Drilling and Shooting teams at field of Soghri 3D project near Jhand. I used LEICA RTK 1200 machine for relocating the source points on 4 seismic lines. After this, I started internship with Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) through National Internship Program. After three months I got relocated to IMCB G-10/4 College and worked as a lecturer (English) for middle school classes. Currently I am at the initial stages of writing a research paper which is about Energy Conservation in 3rd world countries using Piezo Electric Transducers. Recently, I got myself enrolled in an online course of Introduction to MATLAB from Vanderbilt University. These days I am working as a Geoscience intern at Premier Oil, working on the validation of Reservoir Modeling and 3-D Onshore Geophysical Parameters. I am also completing a course of Petroleum Technology from PetroSkills. Apart from that, i also worked as an assistant Producer at Myteora Productions and as a session musician for various underground acts. I was the President of Music Society, Bahria University Islamabad. i have played table tennis on National and league levels as well and have been the winner of Under the Radar Pakistan. I am a tech savvy person with a lot of interest in learning new software and working in field environment.
