FINAL YEAR PROJECT: Self Stabilizing Spoon.

DESCRIPTION:

Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, Huntington’s disease, or post-stroke deficits are

the diseases by which people are affected around the globe. Those people who are affected by

this type of disease cannot perform basic routine tasks such as eating. We have constructed a

Self-Stabilizing spoon that in the real world which assists people with impaired skills. Our project

originated from the idea of camera gimbals, in which a spoon will maintain its position against

the tremors, so the food will remain in the spoon bowl and allow those people who are suffering

from such diseases to eat their food on their own.
