Responsibility’s, 1. Responsible for performing all aircraft gate pushback and towing operations, including driving and operating various types of pushback tractors, both conventional and towbarless. 2. Inspect all assigned pushback tractors (PBTs), towbarless tractors (TBLs), and aircraft nose wheels/towbars to ensure serviceability and resolve any safety issues, incidents, or discrepancies. 3. Carry out gate pushback and towing activities safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions provided by the operations supervisor. 4. Identify different types of towbars and perform proper connection and disconnection procedures. 5. Recognize the permitted tow angles for various aircraft types and understand the associated pushback limitations. 6. Provide and operate different types of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for servicing operating airlines. 7. Provide and operate various types of Ground Power Units (GPUs), including those from Airport Ground Pit Systems, Passenger Boarding Bridges, and mobile units. 8. Provide and operate different types of Air Conditioning Units, including those from Airport Ground Pit Systems, Passenger Boarding Bridges, and mobile units. 9. Provide and operate various types of Passenger Boarding Bridges and passenger stairs/steps. 10. Use headsets for effective communication between ground staff and the aircraft cockpit. 11. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure consistent and controlled work execution. 12. Comply with applicable safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, SOPs, and controls to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. 13. Openly discuss safety concerns and report them to the relevant supervisor.
