About

Background: I am final semester master research student at East China University of Science & Technology, Shanghai, China. My major is Chemical Engineering & research focus consists of modelling & simulation study of fixed bed catalytic reacting units to understand the interfacial and intraparticle gradient for industrial scale methanation technology used in power to gas energy projects. Project is designed to control massive heat release during methanation reaction. The tool used for this purpose is COMSOL Multiphysics. I was also invited for poster presentation at “International Conference on Renewable Power-to-Gas Technology”.My bachelor major was also in Chemical engineering from NFC Institute of Engineering &Technology. I had also professional experience as “Trainee Management Engineer” at Pioneer Cement Ltd, Jouharabad, Pakistan after bachelor. Motivation: I intend to pursue a scientific career because, I am fascinated by solving real-world problems. I am interested in projects where numerical analysis is an integral part of experimental tasks. My current simulation skills can be helpful in this regard. I have intermediate level hands-on experience of COMSOL Multiphysics. Except it, during my bachelor degree I had also enrolled in training course of Ansys Fluent. Training course was designed for hands-on experience of tool at basic to some sort of intermediate level particularly for numerical analysis of flow and its associated phenomenon like heat and mass transfer operations in chemical engineering units. Currently I am also learning MATLAB R2020b. My course work deals wide variety of required knowledge throughout my academic credentials. During my master course work I register course on advanced fluid dynamic and statistical calculations which will be fruitful to accomplish the PhD tasks. Except it, during my bachelor degree I chosen an elective course on Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) due to special interest in it, I had also learnt Transport phenomenon, Numerical analysis and computer applications, computer and computations, & I hope that these all courses may fertile my PhD tasks. The higher purpose and motivation to apply for this job is I would like to learn stuff which be beneficial for society it is my journey. On other hand I would like to teach such kind of stuff to others in more sophisticated manners for their well-being which is my destination. Software Skills: ➢ COMSOL Multiphysics V5.2 (intermediate level learnt in masters) ➢ Ansys fluent (basic to intermediate level learnt in bachelor) ➢ MATLAB (learnt basics in bachelor however now improving up to intermediate to advanced level) ➢ Programming languages (C, C++ & java learnt in bachelor at very basic level) Conclusion: To conclude, I am confident that I have a strong motivation, and abilities to work on this project. I have the necessary exposure, aptitude, and enthusiasm required to contribute to the topic.
