  • Academic Projects
    Final Year Project on “Response surface methodology to model and optimize the
    design parameters of electroless deposition of Cu on Al powder.”
    In this project, we applied Response Surface Methodology (RSM) to model and
    optimize the design parameters of electroless deposition of copper (Cu) on
    aluminum (Al) powder. We conducted a series of experiments to investigate
    the effect of different parameters such as time, temperature, and reducing agent
    on the deposition process. Finally, we used RSM to optimize the design
    parameters for maximum Cu deposition. Our results demonstrated the
    effectiveness of RSM in optimizing the electroless deposition process.
    Term Project on ” Manufacturing of Electrospinning Apparatus and Production
    of Polymer Fibers using Electrospinning Technique”.
    In this term project, we focused on the production of polymer fibers using the
    electrospinning technique and the manufacturing of the electrospinning
    apparatus. We selected a suitable polymer – solvent system and optimized the
    electrospinning parameters to produce fibers with controlled morphology and
    properties. The produced fibers were characterized using various analytical
    techniques.
    Melting and Casting-Casting of Al-Si and Al-Si-Sr alloys.
    Involved casting Al-Si and Al-Si-Sr alloys to see the nucleation and growth
    behavior of Sr modified Al-alloys for mechanical properties.
    Manufactured small Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC)Course Project on Phase diagrams
    This mini project was on the theoretical study of complex phase diagrams. The
    main aim of this project was to get an in-depth understanding of the phase
    diagrams, and the development of phase diagrams for new alloys.
    Heat Treatment of Different Materials-Course Project
    This project was on the heat treatment of different materials like brass, cast iron,
    and aluminum-copper alloy and their metallographic studies to observe the effect
    of temperature and time on their microstructure and mechanical properties.
    Other Metallurgic Projects
    Performed destructive testing: Impact testing, hardness testing to characterize
    material.
    Performed and understood nondestructive testing: Ultrasonic Testing,
    Magnetic Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing to charcterize material and check
    integrity.
    Practically determined effect of rare earth elements on morphology and
    microstructure of Al-Si alloys.
    Research Work & Publications
    Recently submitted my research paper on “Response surface methodology to
    model and optimize the design parameters of electroless deposition of Cu on Al
    powder.” In top journals.
