Cover Letter Dear Sir I would like to apply in your company as I have vast experience within Transportation Management, (illustrated in my resume).I started my career with International Committee of Red Cross in 2005 just after the earthquake in Muzaffarabad Azad Kasmir.Prior to ICRC I was running a family business of trucking/jeeps company. I worked in different positions within Logistics unit (Fleet Manager, Workshop Supervisor, and Logistics Officer) comprised Fleet responsibilities. I have been deputed in 2010 to Rajan Purr South Punjab Pakistan as convoy manager in flood operations. Later in January 2011 I was deputed to Jacobabad internal Sindh Pakistan as Logistician for assisting and providing Logistical support opening new ICRC delegation , staff hiring and setting up a Logistics unit as well as implementation of ICRC Logistics procedures together with Expat Administrator and deputy Head of Delegation. During 7 years career with ICRC , I have been dealing with Large Fleet comprised of Sourer 4x4 trucks , 4x4 Land cruiser , Commercial trucks , Toyota G.L.I Corolla mini buses etc,maintenance issues ,stock management, staff affairs (drivers),preparing road movement plan, fuel management, vehicle disposals,etc.I always showed flexibility and worked in a dedicated way. After serving ICRC 7 years. In 2013 I joined Saudi Services for Electro Mechanics Company Ltd (overhead Transmission line 380kva).My role involves dealing with shipment receiving, maintaining statistics, order management, supervision of staff. After completion of my contract, I joined The Agribusiness Support Fund USAID Project in 2014 in Islamabad Pakistan as Motor Pool Manager responsible of Fleet management comprised of Drivers & Cars that includes Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Gilgit and Karachi region. Later I joined Air blue International Airline aviation line in Islamabad Pakistan as Transport Executive responsible of Fleet that includes, Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore,Multan and Karachi region. During 11 years of experience I perform rigorous administration and management at all times considering the significance of organizational objectives, Work efficiency, security, cost effectiveness, capacity building of staff. With regard to qualification, I have completed: • Certification in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. • Certification in Store Procurement and material Management. • Certification in Transportation Management. • B.
