I'm doing BSc in radiation therapy technology from superior university. I'm currently in 5th semester. Firstly I want to learn basic positioning which is necessary in radiology department also. So, I have worked in radiology department as a x ray technologist 6 months during my 3rd semester. After completed the 4th semester I am doing an internship as a Radiation therapist at INMOl cancer hospital. Here I learn how to operate an linac, provide treatment by measuring safety and protocols which are necessary in dose delivery,learn how to protect OARS and giving accurate and precised dose. I work in Halcyon Unique True beam and Clinac IX at INMOl hospital.I also work in CT sim a week where I learn how important is CT simulation for treatment planning.Now, I want to learn and explore more in my field. So that in future I will be a good and responsible Radiation therapist.
