Lead Direct Procurement – Pak Gerry’s dnata, Karachi, Pakistan (1/07/2020 - Present), Full Time Job Description • Responsible to lead all direct procurement from ‘p to p’ cycle requirements in the Ground Services and Cargo operations (technical buying). • Lead import procurement which entails shipment planning, container booking import & prepare all shipping documents and correspondence with bank and freight forwarder for payments. • Manage the supply to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial, and operational requirements • Negotiate with suppliers for competitive prices. Source and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers. • Develop and implement organizational policies for the department. • Prepare and share monthly reports, statistics, and analysis of actual vs budgeted expenditure to highlight departments and company’s performance and ensure improvement. • Ensuring that all the Purchase orders meet quality and delivery timelines • Lead store department and control the timely and cost-efficient warehousing and Inventory Management. • Lead stock counts activity to be conducted on Quarterly basis.
