Ishmal Saleem

My name is Ishmal Saleem, I am doing bachelor's in television broadcasting and digital media from Bahria University Islamabad. The reason why I choose this degree and I am passionate to excel in this career is because of my deep interest in journalism as well as in capturing different stories of people and engaging myself in meaningful conversation. Although I started my degree in 2020 but I have been interested in media as a profession for a very long time. Back A levels I chose media studies as my major subject along with sociology and business. I am very enthusiastic about my profession and career. One of the many goals I have for my life ahead is to graduate, gain enough experience and work with Warner bros or Disney. I just want to give my best to my customers and clients and the company I am working with just to show the best of my abilities. I am very keen and I pay attention to minor details so that I can maintain a good quality of work. I believe I can work well even under pressure although I do not believe in peer pressure. Along with this, I am very punctual when it comes to meeting deadlines. This is why I think I can strive and thrive in an environment even if it is stressful. The reason I am looking forward to this program is that I want to learn from the best instructors and gain international exposure and enhance my knowledge and polish my skills because it is the best way to get a broader view of the world and gain the best experiences. I want that before I step into the industry I have more insights into the working environment, and the work we do and more knowledge regarding my journey ahead of me.
