HISHAM FAZAL SYED

My highest Degree of education is B.E. Mechanical Engineering from  NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi. I have graduated with a CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0. Since graduation, I have been employed at National Refinery Limited – Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, Pakistan. As an engineer being involved in onsite projects such as boiler renovation, API storage tanks construction, vessel designing and installation and plant maintenance activities has lead me to become a good planner and enhance my vision to visualize unforeseen events and prepare for them in advance. Furthermore, I have a working knowledge of project planning, procurement and execution that has been developed through my experience of professional field exposure. I am able to judge situations and foresee instances that may become a hurdle in future to effectively take measures in order to avoid such hindrances for a smooth job execution. Aside from projects, I have also had maintenance exposure of pumps, heat exchangers, air coolers etc. that have helped me in understanding basic practices used in industries and how to tackle and resolve situations to minimize down time of equipment's and constructively utilize time set for specific tasks and keep record of percent completion of each sub job to ensure timely completion of activities with satisfaction. Besides my professional experience, I have acquired reasonable command over my soft skills aswell such as AutoCAD, ProE, Microsoft Office (mainly MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project & MS Powerpoint), SAP (Material Management Module) and Matlab. I have also attended various HSE training's related to working hazards and precautionary measure to avoid mishaps.
