● Management and administration of the HRD office of the Punjab Higher Education Commission encompassing all office activities. ● To manage and implement HRD projects initiated by PHEC. ● Ensure day-to-day management of the project ● Ensure the direction of project activities and the achievement of projects targets and results. ● Design projects budgets. To proactively manage budgets for approved HRD activities within agreed financial limits to provide value for money in delivering services and maximize the achievement of PHEC policy of capacity building in the education sector. ● Regular supervision and monitoring of progress made on HRD programs or schemes. ● Working in a team to produce programs that are in line with the PHEC Act and chalking out the costs of planned programs while keeping in view the budgetary details. ● To coordinate, organize, prepare and attend meetings of Committees as required. ● To communicate with PHEC staff and the public to ensure that all dealings are conducted as per the policy set by HRD. ● Effectively carrying out inter-departmental correspondence as well as official correspondence with partner agencies. ● To research learning and development initiatives required specifically for higher education concerning human resource development. ● Act as a custodian of all HRD files and official data/correspondences. ● To communicate regularly with Ph.D. and Master’s scholars abroad along with their foreign universities regarding progress, and academic and financial matters regarding their scholarship awards. ● Report progress of projects to the Competent Authority and ensure the fulfillment of project directives. ● To undertake other duties which may arise or may be delegated from time to time about the skills required for this post.
