L2 VSAT NOC Engineer Duties & Responsibilities ·       Operation of iDirect TDM/TDMA Hub based Satellite Network that comprises of more than 4000 VSAT stations includes , 3XXX, X1,X3 and X5 modems over different satellites ·      Use the iDirect products versions iDs 7.0.5.0, iDx 2.1.2.1, iDx 3.1.0.11 and iDx 3.1.1.2 (iMonitor, iBuilder, iSite) for Monitoring and Managing the network. ·      Monitoring and analyzing the behavior of Network that includes Satellite Communication statistics, Data traffic and time slots distribution in TDMA network. and provide the technical support for the remote VSAT users. ·      Coordinate with iDirect TAC in critical issues. ·      Coordinate with Satellite services provider, and get the plot for assessment. ·      Coordinate with Field support team for maintenance and make some tests to rectify the problem. ·      Pre/Post Configuration and Testing of Satellite Modems, Recover the faulty iDirect Modems. ·      Implemented, Monitoring and managing the iDirect Hub Line Card, NMS and PP Servers ·      Commissioning of new VSAT remote sites and Perform RF optimization. ·      Monitor the SCPC link through What’s UP network management system, also check the carrier on spectrum if problem occur. ·      Checking and analyzing customer Traffic flow (Inbound/Outbound) and Modem parameters graphs through NMS. ·      Conduct the PM activity if require.
