Dear HR Manager,   I take this opportunity to write to you regarding the open position of electrical engineer in your company. I have completed bachelor in electrical and electronic engineering from Near East University (NEU) North Cyprus, Turkey. My diverse background made me well versed in electromechanical systems, power electronics, power systems, and control systems. I believe that your offered position matches ideally my interest and my experience will complement the existing expertise and strongly benefit your company.   During my final bachelor thesis, I worked on the project entitled “development of wireless solar energy measurement system”. I designed a solar panel and developed the detection system to measure and monitor the power readings from solar panel through a microcontroller built on Arduino Uno (Uno) platform. My strong interest in high voltage techniques and power systems also led me to work on project focused on “lightning impulse voltage generator”. My designed generator was able to handle 150 kV with interchangeable gaps. In addition, I got an opportunity to do an internship at Islamabad electrıc supply company (IESCO), Islamabad, Pakistan. The work was mainly focused on operation and maintenance of switchgears of grid power station. Here, I worked on schematic drawing of grid station equipments as well as network single line diagram. I also learned about network faults and short circuit current calculations of transmission lines.   After completing my bachelor degree, I joined the department of power electronics at NEU as research assistant to work on the project focused on designing of a dual-input central capacitor DC-DC converter for distributed photovoltaic (PV) architectures, which was used to boost dual input sources with minimized semiconductor current and voltage stress. In addition, I possess expertise in installing, maintenance, and inspection of the elevator units, which I got during my exposure to work as test engineer at Schindler Group located in Girne, North Cyprus, Turkey. As an electrical engineer trained to correlate observations to ideas and inventions, I have developed good problem-solving skills and look forward to different and challenging work. I believe my strengths and capabilities are highly suited to work at your company.
