Key Milestones
• implemented HRSG Decibel in partnership with HRSG BPO for complete HR functions automation to respond to change, optimize process, capitalize on technology, and ultimately make HR a strategic contributor
• Successfully completed Role Clarification and Job Evaluation exercise in collaboration with Mercer
• Developed Succession Planning frame work which evaluated the potential pool on a systematic criterion, based on which conducted Talent Reviews across organization. The TRs helped map on 9 box grids leading to succession pipeline also are source of IDPs & PIPs
• Revamped PMS: Developed KPI Balanced Scorecard to track performance and digitalized it with HRSG BPO team
• Planned and executed Recruiting Events e.g. Career Fairs & Career Counselling sessions at top universities
• Hired diverse workforce and closed 08 positions during Covid-19 in-house and in record time; increased gender diversity by 20% in (2021) from 17% in (2020)
• Control HR CAPEX and OPEX budgets; perform quarterly monitoring and review on budget consumption and monthly monitoring of the headcount through dashboard reports
• Designed and launched a “Coaching Skills for Leaders” program with Pakistan’s premium success coach Mr. Qaiser Abbas for Leadership to acquire specific skills to better lead individuals and teams as performance-focused collaborative catalyst.
• Collaborating with BEMORE to transform PKIC into a workplace, whose culture encourages participative style of management, power distribution, well-being of self and others, focuses on quality interactions & conversations
• Created Employee Engagement programs to continuously evolve PKIC employer brand e.g. Woman's Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Year End Employees Performance Recognition Program, Virtual Engagement Program i.e. "Let’s Talk Your Heart out" etc.
• Revived Company LinkedIn Page and turned it into PKIC employer brand hub, the official PKIC LinkedIn now showcase its culture story, testimonials, photos, diversity and engagement
• Added new chapters in PKIC Employer Engagement & Branding Book by establishment of a state-of-the-art Cafeteria and Gymnasium at Karachi Head office
• Conducting Employee Engagement Survey in collaboration with KPMG
• Planned and executed several COVID 19 responses such as; partnered with HRSG and doctHERs in providing complete Covid 19 health care solution for PKIC employees; provided the right technology and resources to ensure WFH is implemented smoothly; developed Virtual Learning program to keep learning a priority and employees engaged; successfully planned & executed Covid 19 vaccination drive for the entire workforce and their family members
• Provide advocacy to management for decision making in changing existing HR policy & procedure guidelines and establishing new requirements where applicable
• Advise and support management/employees on employee relations matters including: disciplinary, grievances, Harassment, whistle below, and performance management
• Realigned PKIC’s compensation based on EY’s market survey
• Introduced Interest Free Personal Loan and Five Years Gratuity Program for Support Staff
• Wrote Business Case on measures put into motion by PKIC since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic for safeguarding the interests and well-being of its employees, the case is being taught in IBA HR class and will be publishing in IBA journal as case study
