Faiza Usman

I am a Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of experience in external audit. I completed my articleship from PwC Karachi in 2012 and also qualified in the same year. Presently, I am working at Kreston Hyder Bhimji & Co. with which I am associated since 2013. My education and work experience have enabled me to be involved in audits ranging across multiple sectors and industries particularly manufacturing and retail. Currently, I am leading the audit of ‘Port Qasim Authority’ which the 2nd largest deep sea port of Pakistan handling more than 30% of the nation’s cargo. I have also been given signing authority in this firm on the basis of which I can sign low risk clients and my main achievement was when I signed a listed client related to manufacturing of sugar. My roles and responsibilities also include focusing on firm- wide quality and also on individual engagements in respect of which I have helped my firm achieve a successful rating by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. My people’s skills include my role as mentor of my junior trainees whose performance I evaluate on a periodic basis depending on their skills and abilities and help them in their career path whenever they need assistance. I am looking for a job commensurate with my skills and abilities and it would be an honor for me to be part of this esteemed organisation.
