Bilal Farooq

I'm Bilal Farooq Sheikh, a Geophysicist based in Islamabad, Pakistan, with a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Bahria University Islamabad (2020–2024). My academic training spans seismology, gravity and magnetic methods, structural geology, and geophysical data interpretation. My practical experience comes from an internship at the Pakistan Meteorological Department, where I monitored real-time seismic activity, assisted in earthquake data analysis, supported equipment calibration, and prepared technical reports — giving me hands-on exposure to professional geophysical workflows. My goal is to contribute to multidisciplinary geoscience projects — whether in exploration, environmental studies, or seismic research — by applying my technical skills and analytical mindset to deliver accurate, meaningful results. I'm eager to grow within a team-oriented environment where I can continue building on my foundation and make a tangible impact in the field.
