Anam Saleem

With a PhD in Biosciences and an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the understanding of the molecular basis of ripening in mango using advanced molecular biology techniques. During my PhD, I gained extensive experience in molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR, molecular transfections, and next-generation sequencing, which align well with the requirements of the project. My research focused on Plant viruses, where I developed strong skills in genome sequencing, plant tissue culture and genome evolution studies. This background has equipped me with the technical expertise and analytical skills necessary to contribute effectively to the collaborative project. Further, I have been awarded gold medal in My MSc (Hons) agriculture and Bronze Medal in BSc (Hons) agriculture.
