Distillery Effluent Treatment Project -Crystalline Chemical Industries (Pvt) Ltd. Sargodha
- To address the issue of distillery effluent treatment, crystalline Chemical Industry and the Department of Chemical Engineering at UET Lahore collaborated on a project. According to the needs of the industry, we have recommended a suitable and affordable physio-chemical treatment in this project.
- Served as group leader for the final year's project, "Production of 180 TPD of Acetaldehyde by Ethanol Dehydrogenation.”
- Gained an understanding of the fundamentals of distillation columns and the DCS control system for fermenters and pre-fermenters.
- Acquired a fundamental understanding of the idea behind fermentation kinetics and discovered how various parameters affect it.
- Process and operations of Anaerobic digesters and how these are affected by different parameters.
- Practical knowledge of ETP (Effluent treatment plant)and STP (Secondary treatment plant) processes.
