As Warehouse & Logistics Officer run warehouse operations. Responsible to ensure the correct issue/receipt and storage procedures are adhered to in line with company policy & procedures. To ensure requisitions are issued within given time frame & to apply correct safety procedures. Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for warehouse staff. Also responsible to ensure correct methods of stocking used, easing access to fast moving parts and fast delivery. To manage & lead a skilled team of Store Supervisors & storekeepers to carry out daily operation in all 11 Hangars. Allocate available Man Power & available resources to ensure smooth ops at Warehouse. To coordinate with the Production Planning for preloading the materials in advance for the Aircrafts coming on C checks/A Check & Service Checks Etc. To keep close coordination with AOG Desk & to provide the materials support to AOG Aircrafts at Base & out stations. To review & monitor the process of removing the Shelf Life Expired Materials from stock & to forward to quality team for further disposal. To supervise the ops of Hazmat & Wheels/Tyres stores.To issue Tools & components to 3rd parties on loan & requested spares on sale basis. To supervise binning team for proper binning of spares & optimal use of storage space.To do annual performance review of subordinate store staff. Also worked as Materials Supervisor in Goods Receipt Section of EK Engineering Warehouse & Logistics. Reporting to the duty officer of Goods Inwards Section and supervising all the receipt activities from overseas & local vendors. To check and match the shipment with accompanied documents & specifications. To carry out the visual inspection of received packages & to raise discrepancy reports in case of any damage/deficiency. Arrange to open the packages & match with accompanied invoices & airworthiness certificates .To distribute the shipment between staff for further process & to book in system. To arrange the inspection of bulky & heavy component with the help of Materials Inspectors .To organize the discrepant parts in Quarantine Area. To review discrepancy reports and liaise with concerned section for further follow up. To forward the parts to binning section after proper labelling. To keep the record of received documents in archive .To assist the Store Management in running the operations smoothly. Worked as loading team leader in Ramp Operations for two years in Dnata (Dubai). During this period got experience of loading/off loading flights of different Airlines. Handled different types of Aircraft's A320,A330,A340,A380 and Boeing 777. SAPS (Shaheen Airport Services) Sept.1999-Jul 2003 Traffic Asst. Karachi Worked as Traffic Asst. in Shaheen Airport Services for four years and performed manual check-in, boarding and Loading/Off Loading. Worked in baggage area to build containers for departure & reconcile baggage with load sheeter. Also did Concertina clearance of customers Airlines.
