Radiation Therapy is a multidisciplinary team task, including physicians, physicists, radiation therapists and nursing. It is a two years programme designed to train fresh graduates in the technologically advanced field of Radiation Therapy. Trainees will have the opportunity to learn and work on the most advanced Radiotherapy Units (Medical Linear Accelerator, Simulator, Brachytherapy machine and Mould Fabrication unit). Candidates will have to attend didactic sessions as well as rotate through various radiotherapy modalities as per schedule, under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals. The candidates will have to observe and perform routine procedures as part of their learning process.

Requirements

Candidates who have completed B.Sc. (Preferably Physics) are eligible to apply; should have strong interpersonal skills, ability to operate computer based technology and should possess basic computer skills.

The selected candidates will be given monthly stipend. Upon successful completion of the traineeship; fulltime employment may be offered subject to availability of the position.
