Job Detail- Senior Manager – Production Planning & Control

Designation: Senior Manager – Production Planning & Control
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Karachi
Qualification: BE – Chemical / Mechanical
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in large industrial setup (Pharmaceutical / Chemical Industry)
Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Responsible to organize & co-ordinate all process planning activities.
- Responsible for the preparation of Annual / 3-monthly production forecast to ensure that the plant has the capability to produce the requested tyre size and quantity on the basis of Marketing Forecast.
- Responsible for providing the daily production schedule to meet machine breakdowns & other manufacturing hazards.
- Co-ordinate with technical department in developing experimental tyre specifications.
- Inform Industrial Engineering Department about bottlenecks in process planning.
- C-ordinate with Procurement department to ensure in-time delivery of raw material.
- Keep all records of production and inform progress to management.
- Plan and control outside mixing activities.
- Control raw material, work-in-process and finished goods inventories.
- With Information Technology Department assistance develops, Supply Chain integrated Programming.
- Analyze variations in material consumption against standard (i.e. rework generation at various sections of production).
- Ensure the department personnel have, all the necessary training, tools and access to the information to meet their job requirement.
- Organize In-Process material handling with the help of Industrial Engineering & Production Departments.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English & Urdu)
